{ a messenger }

What a blessed weekend! Friday night was able to grab dinner with Hlee and Kashia then headed out to The Well where Father really spoke through Josh Thompson about truly and solely living for the Lord or the world "The choice to go". Mighty, mighty words were spoken and you could feel the Holy Spirit move among us, stirring up many hearts. After was W.A.R. (Waging A Revolution) and we prayed from 11pm-630am! What a blessing that was! I really didn't think I would make it because I was tired, headache was in effect and I had to work the next morning @ 8am but the Lord just really sent the Holy Spirit to energize me and he kept me focused on what mattered (a devoted time to speak to him) and what didn't matter (the flesh). I left The Well at 630am, couldn't stay to help clean  up because I wanted to come home and change before heading to work. When I got home I took a 30min nap with my baby (poor baby spent her first night alone). Was able to get to work on time and by 9 I was ready to knock aaaaaout!  ;)

Sunday night I attended Day7 where I saw Group 1 Crew!!!!!!!! Ahhh! I absolutely love them! I was able to take a photo and get a autograph. Pastor Steve ALSO spoke about sanctification and evangelizing. The message was titled "Fixated", which covered Exodus 2. It was such a great night! Not only because a great message that was exhorting and encouraging but I got to attend a performance by Group 1 Crew for FREE! Afterwards, while we were all outside mingling, Pastor Steve came over to say "Hi" to us and I was able to FINALLY ask him a question that I've been so eagerly meaning to ask him. He was so cool!

Monday night at Basics guess what we covered? Yep! Evangelizing! Sharing your faith and testimony! I was able to briefly share my testimony and the girls were so willingly to share their past. Praise God for the strength in character He has built, the potter who has molded the clay to be who they are today and have yet to become. Family I truly encourage to share to good news to any and all the people you know. Your friends, family, co-workers and everyone else in between. You may be the only bible someone reads! Share the gospel everywhere you go and if you have to, use words. Speaks words of love and compassion, pray to God for wisdom and words to speak. Rid any calluses, bitterness or malice within your hearts and become clean vessels to further His kingdom. Share the good news not only because it is the amazing free gift to the unsaved but also because it is a order from the Lord.

In the book of Exodus God had request Moses to deliver His people out of Pharaoh's hand and Moses declined. Excusing himself saying that he could not speak and that the Egyptians would not believe him. What was God's answer? "I will certainly be with you." You see God was willing to speak THROUGH Moses. To use him as a tool to deliver His message, a messenger who would be empowered through the words God would give and the miracles he would display.

Family are you making yourself available for Christ to use you? Do you believe that though you are UN-able, Christ is able. Do you believe that when you don't have the words to speak, God will provide the words and wisdom to you? Do you wait anxiously to serve the Lord with all of your heart, soul and mind?

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. - Mark 16:15-16

{ ketch-up }

So I know, I've been very bad with updating. And its so late, I have to run to bed BUT! Here are a few photos of a previous project that I promised. I had found an AWESOME sofa & swivel chair on www.craigslist.com. If anyone know me, they know I am a advocate craigslist shopper! ;)

Well, I found the posting at $100 for the pair, and bought it for a bargaining $75!!! The covers were very dirty but the structure overall were still very nice. What a steal! Ofcourse the sofa covers had not been washed since,.. ? forever and were filthy but with a few washes, bleaching and Rit fabric dye, it turned out look very nice. Check it out:

{ valentine's weekend }

So this year I went to a wedding for Vday in Fresno (or as I recently learned "the pit of California"?). Friday night/Saturday morning was such a bad, hectic day full of headaches! We didn't actually leave Friday night, as we originally planned, but yet Saturday afternoon. Because of the stress that was cause through the car rental company they granted us a upgraded car for the same discount that a employee would have. The Mercedes C300 was such a smooth, quiet and fast car to drive! Lets not forget the white exterior and black leather interior was a beautiful combo also!

We Finally arrived in town early afternoon and went to Fashion Fair mall. I must admit I remember it being so much bigger? Anyhow I didn't buy anything? Which is for the better.

I am so drained! Didn't get into Southern California until 1130pm and didn't get to my apartment until 12:30am. What on the agenda for tonight? A little laundry, a shower, jumping into sweats then taking a 2hr power nap before I have to get ready for Monday Basics. *highly anticipating my nap, that's for sure. Have a good day folks!

p.s. DIY has been postponed as I am currently broke as a joke. :)

{ hump day }

After 7+ hrs of sleep, I'm surprised to find myself tired today..? I rarely get to sleep more than 5/6hrs and yesterday I was happy that I was able to hit the sack @ 1030. Only to wake up every hour after 230am.. weird?
Anyhow, yesterday was my first attempt to make chicken enchiladas!! Whoo-hoo! :) It was deeee-licious! All props goto Angela! In addition to that, Jonathan made beef taquitos and Pangki made dip, salsa and chips! *Yum. By the end of dinner we had no room or energy left for the brownies that were baking in the oven.
I'm contemplating what to send my mother for Valentine's Day.. flowers or Edible arrangements? *Sigh. I have to make up my mind by 3pm so I can order and get it out of the way. Help?
Leaving you with this note: "Remember the tea kettle, it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings!" ~Author Unknown. And in saying that, tea anyone? ;)

{ operating slowly due to lack of sleep.. zz }

What a busy weekend! Saturday morning I worked till early afternoon, went to Chuck E Cheese for Jacob's 4th Bday, rushed home to grab baby and packed for our weekend trip to LA! While in LA Tray and I were able to finish my curtains and I made a ruffle pillow with the scrap fabric (see below right side). What a challenging project that was! I was inspired to attack this project as I came across a blog on "How to: Make a Ruffle Pillow". Thanks Kelly + Olive! ;) Tray left me all by myself to finish my pillow and I had no idea sewing a straight line would be so complicated! Part of me wishes the fabric I had wasn't satin but I wanted to recycle and I figured the color would pull things together a bit. On the left is a pillow I also made inspired by a pillow I came across on... target.com?. The white are cut-outs of a felt clothe adhere on with a "iron-on" adhesive sheet I found at Michael's. In case you're wondering, its a peacock (missing the leg, haha).
Onto today!! So I am officially addicted to blogs and their DIY's. I've been promising myself all these projects that I have absolutely no room or cash for, but I can’t seem to hold myself back. ;) I need self-control! Sigh. One thing I REALLY am looking forward to is my patio project. I am truly inspired as I had seen a butterfly/candle display at a local craft store and now I want to completely makeover my patio! My plans are to transform my now "storage/clutter" patio to a garden/pond, tranquil, candlelit, cottage/shabby-chic, lounge area. Exciting, isn't it? I will slowly, but surely keep you all posted on how I tackle that project!

My co-worker went on a women's fellowship trip this weekend in Lake Arrowhead. She came back and shared with me stories of her amazing trip and the wonderful things God had shared with her. In particular, she shared a handout one of the leaders had given out for their devotion on a "Virtous Woman". It was absolutely lovely! The words were so convicting, yet edifying. "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies." Proverbs 31:10. I encourage you to please take a few moments to read the entire passage (Proverbs 31:10-30) and reflect on yourselves. It describes exactly the duties of a virtous woman, her demeanor and her versatility.

If you have a few moments please visit "
A Virtuous Woman; Proverbs 31 Ministry". This is such a amazing site! You'll find anything from Q+A's, tutorials, devotions, bible studies, recipes and loads more! :) You'll definitely see something that will interest you!

In closing I wanted to show you the gift my co-worker came back with: a awesome blue coffee cup! The cup has scripture: "Without faith it is impossible to please God." Hebrews 11:6. Amen! I absolutely love it because I've been meaning to buy myself a cute coffee mug and I am a firm believer in radical and sanctified believers. Thanks again for tuning in, enjoy your day and please don't hesitate with any feedbacks! :)

Blessings everyone!
